Where am I?

On this activity we are going to play a game.


First off all the teacher must to teach some christmas vocabulary to our students. The teacher can use a mural to show the vocabulary that they are going to use in the game. She/He can make a story and tell it to their students. By this way students will listen the teachers explanation and because of the topic they will be motivated to hear and to participate.



After that, they are going to play a game called ” Where am I ?” .  For this activity we need some cards, some of them with images/photos and the other ones with the names of the images.
To start with the game we need to mix all the cards and put them upside-down on a table. The aim of this task is to find the pair of the correct image with the correct name. For example: Candy image with candy name.
In this way they are going to learn new vocabulary, writting and association. 






Time:
        -Mural: 5-10 minutes
        -Game: depends on the students ( you can repeat it or not)
